Prisoner reform is so overwhelmingly underfunded and overlooked that even fairly small commitments of time, money and attention can have very big, positive impacts.

Train as a volunteer

We currently offer a Basic Training in Prison course to prepare volunteers to work with prisoners safely, professionally and effectively.

 

  • Visiting and touring prisons and police stations 

  • Role play exploring working with prisoners 

  • Familiarisation with forms and processes 

  • Looking at tried and tested methods of engagements with prisoners
