Refocus for Kids
Refocus for Kids is a new initiative and a project of Prisonlink which falls under the organisations quest in diverting young people from crime and disrupting the intergenerational culture of innercity offending which made this project desperately needed in our community.
Refocus for Kids
Through our workshops we covered different aspects of British Values where we discussed democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance. We also discussed in the variety of workshops healthy lifestyles and self-development.
Activities and Workshops
There are 21 kids registered in our program, most of them coming from the areas around Handsworth. In our activities, we try to create a close and warm environment for them to learn, enjoy and express themselves.
